How to play

Easy to learn, fun to plan. There’s no clock, so take your time.

  1. Tap a box

    Tap the box at the front of a column. It hops onto a free slot on the shelf, and its number tells how many cubes it will fetch.

  2. Watch them munch

    Ants march out, walk around the picture and bite the exposed cubes of their color. The picture gets eaten from the outside in.

  3. Plan the order

    A box whose color is still buried waits in its slot. If every slot fills up with waiting boxes, the colony gets stuck.

Later on, watch for surprise boxes, which show their color only in a slot, and tied boxes, which come loose after a few taps.

Is Munchy Ants free?

Yes. Videos and purchases are optional. No Ads, a one-time purchase, removes the ads between levels. Premium, also one-time, adds 2× speed, unlimited photo levels, a welcome gift and the Golden Ant.

Is there a timer?

No. Take all the time you need. The challenge is choosing the order of the boxes.

What if the colony gets stuck?

Use a booster, watch a video for a free slot, or restart the level. Every level can be solved.

Do my photos leave my iPhone?

No. Photo levels are made on your iPhone, and the photo is never uploaded.
